ERICA JANNISCH

 
Erica earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Purdue University. She began her nursing career at Lurie Children’s Hospital in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.  She returned to Rush University and earned a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus as an Advanced Practice Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.

Erica is certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and began her Advanced Practice Nursing career at Lurie Children’s Hospital on a medically complex ventilator dependent unit.  She worked closely with parents with the goal of transitioning the patients to home.  

Erica has been at Pediatric Health Associates for over 20 years. She thoroughly enjoys providing family centered care. Her goal is to partner with the parent/caregiver to provide the most thorough care from newborn and beyond. Erica’s special interests include well child care, picky eating, nutrition, asthma and allergies.   

Erica is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.   She is also an adjunct clinical faculty member at Rush University and serves as a preceptor for their Pediatric Nurse Practitioner students.

In her free time, Erica enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters.
