GOKILA PILLAI
Dr. Gokila Pillai grew up in Peru, Illinois. She graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences and earned her medical degree at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She completed her residency training at Indiana University School of Medicine and is a board-certified pediatrician. She joined Pediatric Health Associates in the fall of 2019 and has been so grateful to work with this community of providers since.
Dr. Pillai enjoys working with the full range of pediatric patients from newborn to late adolescence. Her clinical interests include newborn care, preventive medicine generally but also with specific focuses on nutrition and mental health, and supporting families as a unit. She is trilingual in Spanish and Tamil.
Dr. Pillai now lives in Naperville with her husband and growing family (soon to be mom or ‘amma’ to two). She most enjoys quality time with family and friends, music and dance, and learning and experiencing new things especially through travel.
