JULIAN TANG
Dr. Julian Tang earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed his residency at the Mayo Clinic. After graduating from residency in 2007, he remained at the Mayo Clinic for an additional year as a practicing general pediatrician, where he also helped train future pediatricians.
He then returned to his childhood state of California and spent three years in the Los Angeles area. During that time, he cared for children with acute needs in the Emergency Department at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, managed premature infants in the Neonatal ICU at Olive View Hospital, and built long-term relationships with families in a private practice in Encino, CA.
In 2011, Dr. Tang joined Pediatric Health Associates, where he continues to provide comprehensive pediatric care. His clinical interests include caring for children with a history of prematurity, sports medicine, food allergies, and pediatric mental health. In 2018, he was appointed Vice President of Pediatric Health Associates. He also serves on the Lurie Children's Pediatric Partners (LCPP) finance committee and is the group leader at Endeavor Health for the affiliate pediatrics group. With a background in business administration, Dr. Tang plays an active role in improving quality and operations across the practice.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Tang enjoys skiing, biking, and golfing, and treasures time with his wife and their three young adult children.
