Katy
earned her Associates Degree in Nursing from Truman College in Chicago and started her nursing career as a school nurse on the north side of Chicago in 2012. Through school nursing she developed a passion for working with children and their families. Driven by a desire to expand her impact in pediatric care, she pursued advanced studies and earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice specializing in pediatric primary care from the University of Illinois Chicago.
Katy is committed to creating a compassionate and supportive environment for her patients and their families. Her approach integrates evidence-based practices with a family-centered model, ensuring that each child receives personalized care. Katy’s special interests include nutrition, mental health and child development.
In her free time Katy enjoys spending time with her husband and their 6 teenage children, taking barre classes, gardening, cooking, and summers at Lake Michigan.
