LISA MARTIN
Dr. Lisa Martin earned her medical degree and completed her residency at the University of Chicago. She then pursued a fellowship in general academic pediatrics at Children’s Memorial Hospital while earning her public health degree from Northwestern University.
She spent the next ten years caring for patients in the outpatient clinic and in the hospital while teaching medical students and pediatric residents at the Loyola University medical campus in Maywood, IL. Her areas of clinical interest include newborn care, nutrition, obesity prevention, health promotion and injury prevention.
Dr. Martin is passionate about training future physicians, and she continues to be an affiliate faculty member at Loyola’s Stritch School of Medicine.
Dr. Martin enjoys Star Wars, Harry Potter, and Pixar flicks. (Check out the pins she wears as conversation starters.) She and her family enjoy traveling and trying new cuisines. To stay healthy, she participates in CrossFit, rucking and weightlifting.
