LISA SANCHEZ

Lisa received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Loyola University and began her nursing career at Lurie Children’s Hospital. She then transitioned to Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital, working in both inpatient and outpatient pediatrics, where she gained experience in pediatric oncology, cardiology, nephrology, and allergy. She went on to obtain her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Rush University and is a Certified Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-PC).

Lisa is passionate about early childhood development, allergy and asthma management, child and adolescent mental health, and children with chronic health conditions. 

“My goal is to make going to a healthcare appointment less scary for kids by involving them in the appointment as much as possible. I want to help families establish healthy habits that empower parents to make decisions that help their children develop into healthy young adults, both mentally and physically.”

In her free-time, Lisa enjoys walking her dog, being in nature, physical activity, coffee dates with friends, and spending time with her husband and three almost-grown children.
