SHREYA KANABAR

Dr. Shreya Kanabar earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria and completed her residency training in pediatrics at Rush University Medical Center. She grew up in Naperville where she attended Naperville North High School and went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from The University of Illinois at Chicago as part of the Guaranteed Professional Program Admission in Medicine. 

Adding to our multi-lingual staff, she is comfortable speaking in Spanish and Gujarati and has a basic understanding of Hindi. She trained in Indian classical dancing throughout her childhood and still enjoys various forms of dancing. 

In her free time, Dr. Kanabar is interested in spending time with her family and friends, reading fiction novels, and traveling. Her clinical interests include newborn care, care of premature infants and international medicine.

She is married and enjoys frequenting local bookstores, restaurants, and parks with her toddler.
